TJM 17 Bumper

After a little fender bender I had the opportunity to get a new bumper.  The stock bumper that had been damaged cost about $450 and most aftermarket bumpers cost $500-$650 so I figured why replace the bumper with stock parts if I can pay an extra $100 bucks and get a better bumper?

I looked around and all I could get in time was the TJM-17.  It wasn't my first choice but it only cost $475, since the stock parts were credited the bumper ended up costing me $25.  The approach angle is a little less in the middle and a bit better than stock in front of the wheels.  Plus if I get the winch adapter kit installed I can put a winch on it.

I plan to have a local tube shop weld on some headlight bars and I'll probably put my driving lights on it too.  So far there has been no problem with cooling or radiator blockage but the heat of summer hasn't come yet.  I'll update when I have a good acid test.
