To install the d-rings I had to use a razor to cut through the 1/2 inch thick flooring then drill holes through metal below. Be sure you get the holes in the right place, there are some places under the cargo floor that are reinforced and you won't be able to drill through. Make sure you put nuts on the bolts so they don't rip out of the floor. If you use ratchet straps like I do there will be alot of force pulling on the bolts and simple sheet metal screws won't cut it.
