Side Protection
Here you can see how much protection the Shrockworks design gives the rockers, they stick out enough that they protect the sides of the Xterra, as a rock goes under the tire it goes onto the slider.
Update: The sliders have been put through alot of abuse on the trail and always held up without even budging. I eventually got the confidence to try dropping the Xterra off a rock onto one of the sliders. It was hard trying to bottom out the Xterra, I kept floating over things I though I’d hit. Eventually I gave the sliders a good slam but nothing happened, no flex, no bends just a scratch in the paint. So far I still haven’t seen anything as well designed as these sliders.
