Light Switches
The switches for the lights are mounted where they could be in easy reach while driving and still be tucked out of the way. I can still put full size drinks in the cup holder AND turn on the lights. But with the way they are they're out of reach enough that I don't accidentally flip them when I open the console lid.
I chose the aircraft style safety switches mostly because they look cool. As a kid I remember playing in a 747 training cockpit that had switches like this, now my Xterra cockpit has the switches. I guess it's just the way things come full circle.
