Hose Protectors
During my time in the military helping to PMCS and repair military vehicles I've learned a few things that I've brought over to my Xterra.
Preventive Maintenance and Checks (PMCS) is one of the most important. And that goes as far as protecting things before they get damaged. Hummers have protectors on the radiator hoses to protect them incase the fan throws some debris into them or if the fan breaks and shards cut one of the hoses.
Well looking through things at a parts shop I saw a set of hose protectors for 7 bucks. One went on the upper hose the other went on the lower hose.
