Receiving Antenna

All I had to do was mount the two antennas and route the wires between them and the power source. I installed these at the same time I was doing my lights so the antenna wire into the cabin was able to piggy back with the lights through the grommet in the rack foot pad. The receiving antenna is mounted at the back of the plastic roof basket, it was the best place that it would get good reception and still be protected from stray branches, cargo and my own fumbling when unloading the rack. The only problem right now is that I can't disconnect the wire from the antenna, so if I take off the roof basket I have to unscrew the antenna and leave it on the roof. I don't want to make a quick disconnect out of the antenna wire because it doesn't work the same as a power wire and I don't want to screw up the reception.
