    This page really only refers to the extra services that don't fall under the others because they aren't needed that often.

Air Conditioner check and Fill (Every Spring)

    When the A/C refrigerant is low the air conditioner won't work as well and if all the refrigerant is lost the compressor may seize.

Replace the Spark Plugs (105,000 miles)

1. Replace with NGK Platinum tipped spark plugs, for some reason Nissan vehicles run alot better with NGKs.  Single tipped platinum part number FR5AP-10, Double tipped platinum part number PFR5AP-11.

Replace the Timing Belt (105,000 miles)

1. The procedure for replacing the timing belt is too involved for this site.  If you want to take on the job yourself I recommend investing in a Factory Service Manual on the Xterra.  Replacing the water pump while the front of the engine is dismantled is usually a good preventative fix since they usually start to wear about at about 110k miles.
