High Flow Exhaust

To get as much power for the engine possible I got a higher flow muffler and exhaust. The UXOC has a deal with a local muffler shop to get a cat back exhaust for a much better deal than other aftermarket companies on the net.
The exhaust replaces the 2" steel with 2.5" stainless from the y-pipe back. I asked how much it would be to replace the Y-pipe and if it would give any benefit and they said, "No, it would be a waste of money." But if I wanted to do it they'd be happy to take my money. I figured they knew what they were talking about so I just got Y-pipe back.
They were going to give me the same muffler they gave the rest of the club but then the found out that they were out of stock. They gave me a choice; come back in a few days or they could upgrade me to a Hooker Aero Chamber Muffler for no additional charge. I chose the upgrade, it's a good muffler with a good tone, it makes the most noise between 2500 and 3000 RPMs.
They also asked me into the shop every now and then and asked me how I waned the exhaust routed under the Xterra. I chose to have it go straight out the back. And to keep the tip from getting crushed when I'm in Moab they cut the tip with an angle that puts the tip just behind the bumper.
